Objectives

To be fully representative of the South African SMME community

To provide effective and relevant benefits and services for members

Seek to create an equitable and ethical business environment between big business, government and SMMEs

To promote the professional development and education of persons in the various functional specialities of management; administration and finance;

To cooperate, liaise and consult with local and international professional and similar business organizations on matters related to the development of SMMEs.

To maintain an appropriate and effective infrastructure that includes a sound organization structure and a healthy financial resource base to implement and meaningful manage the above goals.

To perform research, training and development for SMMEs to increase profitability, productivity and efficiency in all such undertakings.

To provide and disseminate relevant information on developments and trends in the various aspects of the conducting of business activities in the SMME sectors.

To speak authoritatively on matters affecting SMMEs.
